AN ACT
1 Amending the act of December 15, 1988 (P.L.1235, No.151),
2 entitled "An act providing for the establishment of the
3 Children's Trust Fund, for a governing board and for the
4 powers and duties of the board; and prescribing the powers
5 and duties of certain State agencies," adding a definition of
6 "designee"; and providing for delegation of votes.
7 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
8 hereby enacts as follows:
9 Section 1. Section 3 of the act of December 15, 1988
10 (P.L.1235, No.151), known as the Children's Trust Fund Act, is
11 amended by adding a definition to read:
12 Section 3. Definitions.
13 The following words and phrases when used in this act shall
14 have the meanings given to them in this section unless the
15 context clearly indicates otherwise:

17 "Designee." An individual who is not a member of the
18 Children's Trust Fund Board and who is acting in the absence of
19 and designated to represent the interests of a board member.

2 Section 2. Section 4(d) of the act is amended to read:

5 (d) Votes.--No public member of the board may delegate his
6 vote. Legislative members may delegate votes to a designee
7 acting on their behalf only after informing the chairman in
8 writing.

10 Section 3. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
