This amendment provides for adjustment of evaluations to ensure that consideration is made for diverse learners in the classroom. Diverse learners include students eligible for the free or reduced price lunch program, students with disabilities, English language learners, and other students with complex learning needs not present for other students identified in the rating tool. The ratio of students in the classroom, building and district would all be considered a significant factor in applying and evaluating all aspects of the rating tool and performance rating of the employee.
