Amends the bill to remove all changes to current law, and to insert language to provide that a superintendent who determines that an appropriate education is not taking place must send the letter required by law within 30 days of receiving the home education program's documentation. The amendment also provides that a home education program is deemed approved unless the supervisor of the program is notified according to the requirements listed in the Section. Finally, the amendment provides that the bill shall take effect July 1, 2014, or immediately, whichever is later.
