Amend Bill, page 1, by inserting between lines 17 and 18
(c) Sentencing enhancement.--The Pennsylvania Commission on
Sentencing, as provided under 42 Pa.C.S. ยง 2154 (relating to
adoption of guidelines for sentencing), shall provide for a
sentencing enhancement for an offense under 18 Pa.C.S. Ch. 27
(relating to assault) when the victim is a uniformed police
officer in a county, city or other municipality who was visibly
displaying a badge, tag or label clearly identifying the officer
at the time of the offense.
